What are Noise Isolating Earphones?
Noise-isolating earphones are ones that can achieve extremely high, in the range of 35 - 42dB, noise isolation. They reduce most noise to safe levels to preserve your hearing. At the same time, they preserve non-dangerous sounds like speech and regular music sound levels.
For example, it allows construction workers to minimize harmful loud noises like jackhammers, but still hear the warning beeps of an approaching dump truck or another backing vehicle.
Musicians can use these to lower the sound level of amplified sound, but still be able to hear their instrument and how it sounds with the other pieces in the band.
