Have you ever wondered what the wind does to Lake Ice
0:03
Let me show you. It's just after sunrise here on Valentine's Day and really a windy day
0:12
Wind's about 22 miles an hour. You're looking at Lake Winnisquam here in New Hampshire
0:17
And if you look down here, this block of ice here is moving this way
0:22
And there had been a big fracture right between this block here that's locked
0:28
into the shore. It's not moving too fast, but it's going to, that block is going to be two or three
0:34
miles south today here with this wind up. It's going to be windy all day. But the lake did not
0:41
freeze over this year. That's a first, first time it's happened since 2001. So we've had a pretty
0:47
mild winter here. So this is Lake Winnesquam in central New Hampshire. Hope you enjoyed it
0:54
Oh, and here's Willow the Dog. You can hear the ice moving
